On 12/8/18 while attending the Ecclesbourne Valley gala & with plenty of time at Duffield it seem to coincide with the passing of an HST so rude not to grab a few shots
On 05/08/2018 GBRF ran their charity railtour The Dub N Grub so being away for the weekend i picked a shot on the Lickey then i tried a new location 7 expecting a pair of 47's for the second shot was nice when i heard the familiar sound of the Hoovers approaching
On 25/07/2018 i had a day at West ealing then popped up to Willesden for the Dagenham cars
On 22/07/2018 the wife wanted a day out on the trains so i came up with a plan strating with The Royal Duchy in Taunton & finishing with a bash on our Northen interloper with a visit to Newport along the way
On 01/07/2018 using my 3rd day of my rover see last month i did a track bash taking in both Bradford stations the Ilkley branch then a bit of time at York before retutrning to Leeds via Harrogate
On 03/07/2018 i had a family day then in the evening with England playing Columbia in a World Cup quarter final i still popped out for 3 stone workings & a WCRC move using a pair of Tractors &was still back in time for all the action in the game
On 04/07/2018 i set the alarm early hoping for some freight but only one on the move but it wasn't wasted as there was a WCRC tracor on its way to KWVR so with that & the Kings Cross from Skipton it was a good morning & was followed by my last day on the North Country rover with a trip to Saltburn by the Sea once a bit of time taken there then took advantage of the through service to Bishop Auckland once back at Darlingto had celebrity haulage to York then on to Leeds for a bit where i found an old friend hanging around with a Northern relitive (see if you can spot it) then back to Cononley for the last time via Skipton on 1D26 again
On 05/07/2018 being last day of my holiday i set the alarm again as there was a problem with the previous days WCRC move from KWVR so they sent another tractor over & then spent the day at Hebden Bridge enjoying the place & a look at Real Time Trains showed the possibility of four freights passing in the end it was only three but such a grat station to do it was worth the visit then after a meal had to get fuel so while in Tesco Skipton knew one of the stones was approaching so made a mad dash to a gateway to try what would of been a better shot in the morning then back around Cononley at my favourite farm crossing to finish with a GBRF 66 i had red penned earlier in the week
