With beingh off from 20th December 2019 for 8 days led to me having a few days out as well as a trip to see Father Christmas at the Avon Valley which are included in here then a Grid paid a visit to the area
On 30/11/19 i did Pathfinders York & Durham festive explorer tour to Newcastle with the Fifty Funds 50007+50049
Om 27/11/19 saw another 88 allocated to the Bridgwater but yet again i was unlucky as it went back north tucked inside the 88. Then the following day had an hour around Weston as 43172 is on borrowed time
On 15/11/19 saw the Bristol based RHTT go off route to Taunton and back so relising after it had passed what had happened had to cchoose a location for it off route. This was then followed by a day at Ealing Broadway but while changing trains got a liner in Temple Meads
On 14/11/19 i headed to the Thames Valley and had 43172 for haulage to Temple Medas for what could be my last run behind it
On 5/11/19 made my annual visit to Tonbridge but on arriving Temple Meads found 1A04 had been caped so could of stayed in bed but it did allow me chance to get one of the growing named Castle HST which ended up with me having one back from Temple Meads to signal B384 just short of WSM where we reversed to Weston Milton where i bailed to get a shot of a Castle set for the first time
On Tuesday 22/10/19 saw The Fifty Funds 50049 run instead of the Friday which was lucky as i was off then on the 30th i had head out to the Thames Valley for the day to receive gen that a pair of Choppers were heading to Portbury but had no way i thought of getting them the it all went wrong the Portbury branch was flooded again so they had recessed in Temple Meads so i managed to get back to find they were getting ready to head down after 5Q81 had cleared the branch
On 20/10/19 had a day out going to Windsor but while waiting for the train to Bristol the Penzance was advertised as being formed of 8 coaches and guess what rolled in then finishing with a unnamed castle
On 10/10/19 went out for the first RHTT shots of the season and knowing the Moorswater cement was due around the same time went to Worle Junction for a change
Starting on 23/9/19 with a GBRF route learner is then followed on 28/9/19 by a GBRF pw working then on the 29/9/19 after spending over 4 hours stood on my bridge waiting including going home for a few hours the 10:21 PW departure turned up 383 lqte which meant with the 11:00 bing 395 late were the only ones i got
Now in to October and a day out starting in Cardiff but with 5Q32 running i returned only for a tree to be down on the Portbury branch so headed to Bristol Parkway to find 6B13 had failed at Yate causing more chaos so as i was just about to head east saw the MK5 move was running so hung around for it

Being off on 10/9/19 and trying to play catch up on my pictures manage to pop out for a Colas move followed later by a Hull Trains hired HST heading for Laira and coach exam this was then followed by atrting 11 days off on the 15/9/19 so before heading to i did the Royal Duchy before leaving
Week commencing 1/9/19 saw The Duchy run and as St Blazey turntable is out of use its followed by a diesel then on 7/7/19 took my last opportunity to do the Taunton Bishops Lydeard link run by GWR & the WSR so started with a classic castle set
On 14/08/2019 catching up with things at home allowed me the opportunity to stay local and why not when you have some interesting loco's around
On 27/7/19 i finished work in time to get the returning Staesman tour powered by Locomotive Service Ltd's 47's including an old Bath Rd favorite
(9/7/2019 being my day off and wanting to try the new camera out more started with the Royal Scotsmans annual tour but the results weren't brilliant i need more practice at day break shots this was then followed by a day at Basingstoke & Westbury before returning home via Taunton on a 2+4 HST
On 29/6/19 being back from holiday i was able to get out for the Mazey Day but unfortunately my battery went flat in the morning but there was the return as well and this was the last time my Canon 750D would be used as on 5/7/19 i picked up a Canon 77D but not getting home in time had to wait for the Colas Skips to return which was then followed the next two days by Kettle tours to get use to using it i then got tipped off due to crew shortage a 2+4 set would be doing an IET working Bristol-Weston-Bristol so out for an evening bash as it involved Harry Patch
The first week of June has seen plenty of barrier moves around for various stock moves both ROG & GBRF provided heritage traction for these moves
While i was away received gen that ROG were going to move a Cross Country power car from Nevile Hill-Laira so made sure i was back in time for it and as it got no further than before Totnes where it failed i think i was lucky but as i write this i am waiting to see what the rescue loco from Leicester will be as its meant to be moving stock for storage
18/05/2019 was a day making history as this was the last day off booked HST's out of Paddington so waking for work and seeing i could get the last up arrival before work then the last departure after work made working bearable but i also believe this was a day that an IET also worked a booked relief to a service train especially heading to the West Country
15/05/2019 was a very interesting day for traction so Brent Knoll was done starting with two short HST sets followed by two 47's finishing off with Caroline
On 28/4/2019 before heading to Chelmsford for week i popped out for what was meant to be the last booked HST to start from Weston-super-Mare but while i was away another was diagramed as GWR needed to get a full buffet set to Laira to provide Pullman service
Between 15-26/4/2019 i managed to fit a few days around work around the area including the return Long Rock convoy then a day around Bristol followed by the last booked HST on 1A12 Paignton-Paddington which should make it the last up arrival in to Weston-super-Mare
!0/04/2019 being my first of 7 days off i spent a few days out at Brent Knoll as there were a couple of off lease stock moves along with the Bridgwater & a convoy going to Cornwall i did a selection of 2+8 & 2+4 HST's and even forgot the camera on one visit
The week started with the first visit to the South West of 68008 on 3/4/2019 this was followed the following day by the penultimate 2Y03 from Bristol being booked fro an HST so an early start to get to Nailsea for it but the weather was typical British so had to wait for Weston to get a shot before heading out on the return working 1A07 then a day HST bashing
On 27/03/2109 i had a day out and returned home via Taunton where i picked up my first 2+4 HST for haulage and even had a classic set as well
On 18/03/2019 had a day out meeting up with friends in Reading so with not many weeks left for these on Paddington's this local working from Bristol turns back as the Up Bristolian so another bash was to be had
Over the weekend of 16/17/03/2019 there was a Permanent Way possession between Bristol West junc & Taunton one worksite was Weston Station so here is what i got
On 13/3/2019 i headed to Acton for the day but it startd=ed with chaos as the fire alarm was ringing on Stoke Gifford Depot so IET's couldn't get out so my planned 1A06 was caped from Weston but gen was 1A07 was HST vice IET so still managed to have one out
On my Birthday starting later than normal allowed me to pop out for 1A08 which for three weeks was back to being an HST due to Whiteball being closed then i went to Milton for my first HST shot there
Week commencing 10/02/2019 saw me have a week off which meant i was able to get out but spent a lot of time local getting HST's including on one day two pairs of back 2 back power cars
On 8th February was going to have a day in South Wales but with the appalling weather got no further than Bristol again but did manage a few shots around Lawrence Hill with the reinstated 4 track
On 23rd January paid a visit to Bristol as gen was 50007 would be moving an HST rake for storage so spent the morning around the area
Waking up on New Years Day found there was an HST approaching Weston so what better way to start the last year of regular HST workings to Paddington than get it close to home. This was fo;;wed 2 days later by a an HST move to Landore then on the 10th i had a day out starting in South Wales then an hour at AFilton Abbey Wood for the first time since 4 tracks were put back in
